This is something mama wrote down about Roy in April of 1993:
"As I put on his tennis shoes – ‘Mama, God could put these shoes on me – He’s the tallest. And I like God. He’s the biggest.’ (pause) (then with appropriate relish) – ‘And He could get a saw and cut our house up.'"
