Finally, It's Meetin' Time!

Rejoice, the Lord is King! Your Lord and King adore;
Mortals give thanks and sing, and triumph evermore;
Lift up your heart, lift up your voice;
Rejoice, again I say, rejoice!

Jesus, the Savior, reigns, the God of truth and love;
When He had purged our stains He took His seat above;
Lift up your heart, lift up your voice;
Rejoice, again I say, rejoice!

His kingdom cannot fail, He rules o’er earth and Heav’n,
The keys of death and hell are to our Jesus giv’n;
Lift up your heart, lift up your voice;
Rejoice, again I say, rejoice!

He sits at God’s right hand till all His foes submit,
And bow to His command, and fall beneath His feet:
Lift up your heart, lift up your voice;
Rejoice, again I say, rejoice!

He all His foes shall quell, shall all our sins destroy,
And every bosom swell with pure seraphic joy;
Lift up your heart, lift up your voice,
Rejoice, again I say, rejoice!

Rejoice in glorious hope! Jesus the Judge shall come,
And take His servants up to their eternal home.
We soon shall hear th’archangel’s voice;
The trump of God shall sound, rejoice!

An Encore...

Hello everybody, I am Forty-One.
Most of you know me by my previous alias, Ludwig. Ludwig retired from Blogdom but called his trusty friend, yours truly, to take over the reigns. You will be pleased to know, however, that Ludwig will be behind the scenes monitoring and advising me in my new profession. By direct order from my predecessor, I have made a few adjustments to Shed of Emotions, primarily, just that. It now dons the title "Bakin' a Cake," the significance of which title, you may discover just under the title. While I had intended to make a few more maintanary adjustments before I revealed the new version, certain and unfortunate circumstances, the details of which I will not bother you with, have forced my hand to immediately provide you the new site. This, by itself, however, will not hinder me from continuing the prospective adjustments. The addresse, which I had not originally intended to change, but the aforementioned circumstances demanded, is as you see, is www.abeauchamp.blogspot.com. I, personally, like this more than the other anyway. I hope you do to.
Please spread the word as you see fit, for this information is of utmost importance to any who would like to visit this blog. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Dear Readers,

With particular anticipation, sometimes heavy with anxiousness, and othertimes vigourous with excitedness, I foresee an acceleration of my lifestyle in the near future, demanding such intense and constant attention that the relief of certain responsibilities, particularly those which might be considered by the majority unnecessary to the healthy progression of daily life, is required. Under such impressions I have purposed to commence a break of indefinite measure from the general literary studies of Shed of Emotions. Thank you for your unremitting interest. I remain,

Ludwig

Cool Photo of the Moment

Dear friends,
I have for some time been in search of a thing to represent true coolness. It has been a long, gruelling, and sometimes tiring journey, but I think I finally found it. Please join me in congratulating this picture, but most importantly the subject portrayed, for being the SHED of EMOTIONS COOL PHOTO of the MOMENT...

eye poem

Last week in Lit class

my teacher, a modest lass

said a collage we're to make

if only for grade's sake

from which images to draw

an eye poem, even of ma.

here is mine.

Through my glasses I see

A juice cup of cranberry.

My favorite director Hitchcock

And a most interesting hemlock.

He did what some merely mean,

He lived his dream to the screen;

Though I doubt if he loved cranberry

As much as I love sweet tea.

To “water” a wanting hemlock

Only today did I enough tea stock.

Through my glasses I see

But a reflection of me.

the earth rolls to my feet.
i freely command the players.
my pillow is my closet,
when i tire of the cheaters.

I have this iPod. And it offers me at any given moment approximately 1000 songs I can listen to. The songs I choose to listen to often depends on my mood. Sometimes I just want to hear a particular artist; sometimes I just want to hear instumental bluegrass to get me in a good mood; sometimes I want to listen to sad country songs to wallow in my down mood; sometimes I will listen to Kelly if I am feeling very serious; sometimes when I feel very happy I listen to Chris Rice; sometimes when I feel very small I sing with Ms. Knapp. Sometimes I am studying but want to clot out the surrounding caucophony so I put in my ear buds but leave the music off. Sometimes I have a tremendous thirst for something new, like I did today. Then I go to Amazon and buy a cd for really cheap.

the end.

Judge Me Not Ye Saints

For My History May Be Tainted
But I'm Sober Enough To Know Blood When I See It
I've Borne My Share Of Stones
Most Of Them Easily Thrown
But Who's To Deny
Your Water-Shed Side
Leading Me Home?

CHORUS:
What Am I Supposed To Do About It Now?
Past Regrets And Long Laments, They Find Me Somehow
O, What Am I Supposed To Do About It Now?
What Have I To Do But Fall Down?

To Spy From Far Away
May Seem That I'm One To Betray
But O, How I Try
The Spirit To Guide
The Promise You Made

CHORUS

Hold Me Up
Never Let Me Go
Love Me When I Am Broken
And Speak To Me

CHORUS

mama left.

...and since friday, the only home-cooked meal I have eaten is some warmed up chicken pot pie, which, by the way, was fantabulous. With Mama went the three youngest chaps of my brotherhood to Arkansas for a visit to the grand parents. Since their departure, my life has consisted of a few key things. But! those few things have managed with little effort to keep me happy for this mama-barren time period. Those things are as follows: (For your convenience I have included visual aid for the hearing impaired):

Something I have often thought would be very cool and I would be ok with is if my family all went in and got me something big that I wanted. Well they all went in and got me something (and others too, for the sake of not leaving them out completely) but they didn't get me something big. oh well...

Dan and roy got this computer game oh a couple weeks ago and it has been the thing to do around here. Well I started a campaign back at the beginning (because thats a very good place to start) (my profile name is "chick_magnet" haha) and after some serious hours at the computer, I finally beat the game. I think that is the first time I have ever beaten a game. I felt pretty good.

Over the period of Friday to Today (5 days?) I have been on a movie spree, so to speak. They were all ones I have never seen before and a few of these particularly I enjoyed thoroughly...here they are in order of appearance:

friday night (w/ pops, dan, and john)

saturday night (w/ pops, dan, and john)

sunday night (w/ john, suzy, seth, nawill, merc, and jame)

monday morning (w/ dan)

monday afternoon (w/ dan)

monday evening (w/ john and seth)

Tuesday afternoon (w/me, myself, and I)

The most amazing of the collection was Black Hawk Down. Indeed it was not lacking in graphic war violence, but it really gave a good idea of the reality of war. And how amazing America's military is, not only technologically, but as far as the importance of honor and respect, particularly for their dead. Quite a moving film.

However, The last of the bunch wins SHED OF EMOTIONS MOVIE OF THE MOMENT because it actually made me cry. Many of you know how much I cry period. Almost nill. But I really did shed a few tears in this movie near the end when the vietnam dude salutes the Colonel (Samuel Jackson). It sent shivers up my spine. I must say though that it does have a considerable amount of filler words, if you know what i mean, so I do not necessarily recommend it for general audiences (that is why it's not rated G. haha.) Well, I have now posted a good post. Good night.
