Here is my list of Pixar films, #1 being my favorite. I must prelude it by making clear that this was a difficult task for me, as they are all dear to my heart, and a few maybe even equally well liked. So without further ado...
6) A Bug's Life. This is probably because I have seen it a total of two times. However, it is clear that this film was the take off of their great enterprise, and have obviously bettered their productions through the years.
5) Finding Nemo. Without a doubt, the most emotional film released by Pixar (yes, I remember the ending to Monster's Inc.). However, the comedy can't compete with my fourth pick,
4) Toy Story. This was my first taste of Pixar, and thought it was the greatest animated film ever - until it's sequel rolled around the corner...
3) Toy Story 2. A rare example of a follow-up outplaying its predecessor, Toy Story 2 built on the first, and grew, grew, and grew. "Use your head!" ... "But I don't wanna use my head!"
2) The Incredibles. The most recent of Pixar's animated film plurarchy, The Incredibles has taken on a slightly different art form as suggested by the Credits background. With the help of the super hero setting, the characters seem to capture their own personality better than ever before. The humor is there as well as the inevitable bait for the adult, but The Incredibles has not yet stood the test of time, and therefore, gives way to my personal favorite,
1) Monster's Inc. The ultimate pair of comedians, Sulley and Mike provide endless opportunities for gutch wrenching laughter, and offer a large reservoir of quotable quotes. Monster's Inc. embodies the humor, the excitement, and the tear-drawing scene at the end.
