Turkey and Rummi

thanksgiving was terrific. we had all the normal, delicious, homemade, savory, foods. turkey, ham, some of the best mashed potatoes I have ever endured, dressing, and the list goes on. A phenomenon to behold also occured, which many will not think any thing of, but those who have had multiple experiences at the site which i am about to speak of. I caught a fish in granpa's pond! I wasnt really thinking I would, but sure enough, as that littel purple grub was twirling along the top of the water - whammee, a 12 inch bass snagged it. fortunately for him, I was not in the mood for fish at the moment, so I graciously let him free to go continue his game of tag.

we played phase 10 till I was phased out. and we played rummi alot too, with Jason Sacran, who is going to marry my cousin rebekah green in januray i think. he is a swell guy.

we watched the Tigers play on friday night and on saturday morning. the basketball game was awful. it was so bad that I left and jogged for a while. I have never done that before while watching a game. the football game on the other hand, was terrific. TRAGEDY

you'll never believe me, but i am sitting in a recliner about 10 ft. away from the computr and moniter.WHY? ou might be yhinking...I have a busted ankle that is very painful, and quit frankly, i don't feel like moving it. last night, we played macon road and it was a much better game. exept for one thing. I was going up for a rebound like I am supposed to do, fighting in the midst of them, and then I started falling back toward the ground. As my shoe touched earth, I could feel my ankle give way, and under it went. CCCCRRRAAAAAACKKK!!!!. I cringed toward the wall padding found behing the gaol, leaned my head on it, as I held my right foot. Teh excrushiating pain was almost to much for me to bare. I knew Horn Rims (inside joke) saw me, but the game went on, as I satthere wondering if it would be the end of the world for me. and for my team. Then I saw from the corner of my eye... wait. that make no sense. have you ever seen a round ball with corners? me meither. ok, so I saw from the side... no, my end... no, my perifial vision. htere that works. done.ok, so sorry to keep you in suspense, it was isaac and steven. the helped me to the bench where I lay down, and.......the rest is history. the point is, it hurt then, and hurts now,so tonight, I am not dressing.... i mean,i am not dressing up, I am going to dress down, ok, I am going to dress casually (not in my jersey) and cheer and eat and clap like the rest of them.... MORE LATER. and by the way I am very knowledgeale that my spelling is awfl.I can ardlys ee wht is on te screen, so that is m excuse. bye.

it's been 5 days since I updated my BLOG. I guess that shows how busy I am these days. We played Macon Road on friday night and lost. we were shown some things we need to work on, so we had practice today and worked on the man-to-man, beating the press, and all around ball movement. it was a very worthwhile practice, and i think it is going to make the difference come thursday night, when we take on Macon Road at home. and to close up the practice, we each shot 10 free throws and Fred made 8 and I made 9! hurra! hurra!

this weekend my family and I, as well as seth and nathan, are going down to jsaper, alabama for Zion Rest's meeting. Their invited speaker isEld. Tim McCool. I am very excited about going down there weekend, because I have not been down there in AGES!

i must go now, for I have to recite something from shakespeare for mum and daddy...

baaaaaasketball

We had basketball practice yesterday, and I am vexed to say that we were pretty sloppy. But we did do some good things like... um...oh yeah, I finally hit a lay-up on a fast break! And... Tyler made really good reverse layups. And... that's about all. Ok so I am being pessimistic. forgive me. We have a game tonight vs. the Westminster Defenders. We have never beat them, but we are going to change that tonight, RIGHT WARRIORS??? I am excited about this season, and I think I am going to post our schedule for my next blog. good bye.

Saturday Academic Test

Indeed, Saturday morning, I, as well as Seth Guess, took the SAT last weekend at Ridgeway High School, which is located on, well, Ridgeway Road. I got up at 6:50 am approx, giving me about 8 hours and 10 minutes of sleep. I would suggest, future SAT victims, that you make sure you get more that 8 hrs of sleep the night before you will be taking the test. more like 15 or 16 would be nice. Now for that, I would take that SAT every week!
It went quite well, I can safely say. There is certainly room for improvement, and I felt it when I didnt make ANY snese of one of the math problems. I read it three or four different ways and always finished with the same conclusion... "huh?" Prob'ly the most difficult section in the whole test is the Student Response questions. It gives me a very unstable feeling about myself. There is no way to compare, or check them. You just have to hope you worked the problem correctly, cuz there isnt really time to go back and do it again. Unless you are Blaire. So the result of the morning... I came out of the building with a very sore neck muscle and a smile on my face. Savvy?

4 MORE YEARS?

it is 1:54 am on Wednesday morning, and Tim Russert's eyeball's are beginning to get red. So are mine. Sis. Judy, Susanna, Mercy, Timothy, and Seth are still with us. This year's presentation of the presidential elections as far as television broadcasts are concerned are indeed superior to the 2000 elections. The graphics, tickers, etc. are clearer, not to add more attractive. George is at a loss for words - John is at a loss for votes.

Running in the Rain is Refreshing

Today, Rebekah and I ran 9 miles!!! Most of it was in the rain, either, mist, drizzles, or drops. It was wonderful! well, that is about all I have to say, but it WAS DELIGHTFULLY SWELL!
