do-mi-so

The basic do-mi-so chord is nothing special, or is it? The larger precentage of ending chords in Vocal Majority songs are just that. but it seems like there is more than that. It must be for what leads up to it- the sharp chord progressions, the classic barbershop 3note bass pickup, etc. After hearing these, you anticipate something fantastic at the end, and what do you get? DO ME SO; it is magnificent because it is so refreshing when heard after the complex chords... as heard from The Great Escape, "It's good stuff..."
